# Thaumatica > Thaumatica is the house behind Mysteria, Libra Esoterica and UAP Nexus — archives of ancient places, esoteric books and aerial phenomena. One account, one evidence standard: what is known, what is claimed, and where the two part company. Thaumatica publishes nothing itself. It is the endorsing house behind a family of archives of the unexplained, and it guarantees one thing about all of them: the evidence is shown. We do not tell you what to believe. We tell you what is known, what is claimed, and where the two part company. ## The evidence standard 01. Show the evidence — Every entry carries what it rests on — the excavation report, the archive it came from, the released document. If we cannot show you why something is in the catalog, it does not go in the catalog. 02. Grade the claim, not the reader — Confidence is recorded on the entry, in a vocabulary that is the same across every archive. You are told how far the evidence carries, and then left to draw the line yourself. 03. Keep the contested in — Disputed and rejected material stays in the catalog, labelled. An archive that removes what it disagrees with has stopped being an archive and started being an argument. ### The shared confidence vocabulary Six grades, most confident first. Rejected material stays in the catalog, labelled, rather than being removed from it. - Verified: Peer-reviewed consensus: inscribed, extensively excavated, dating corroborated. - Widely accepted: Broad scholarly acceptance, with minor debate on the details. - Contested: Active scholarly dispute over authenticity, date, or interpretation. - Hypothetical: Plausible, but insufficient published evidence — often known only from remote sensing or legend. - Unverified: Claimed, but lacking peer-reviewed field verification. - Pseudoarchaeology: Claims the scholarly community has rejected. Included and labelled, never hidden. ## The archives ### Mysteria — mysteria.co - Status: Rebuild in progress - Holds: Mysterious ancient places - Places that still keep their secrets. - 4,500 places, 137 countries, 670 UNESCO sites - Evidence mechanism — The verification seal: Six grades — from peer-reviewed consensus down to pseudoarchaeology — carried on every place, every card and every map pin, each with a note on where the scholarly position actually stands. - URL: https://mysteria.co ### Libra Esoterica — libraesoterica.com - Status: Live - Holds: Occult and esoteric books - The reading room after hours. - 33,430 books, 42 source archives, 33 traditions - Evidence mechanism — Inclusion evidence: Each of 27,125 book-to-tradition assignments carries a machine-readable record of why that book qualified. Membership of a category means relevance, and never endorsement. - URL: https://libraesoterica.com ### UAP Nexus — uap.nexus - Status: In preparation - Holds: Aerial phenomena and disclosure - The record, before the argument. - FOIA primary sourcing, 2026 in preparation - Evidence mechanism — The documentary record: Every case is anchored to the documents that exist, with the official disposition recorded as recorded — not endorsed, not debunked, and never quietly upgraded to fact. - URL: https://uap.nexus ## Candidate verticals - Cryptids: Reported animals, and the difference between a sighting, a specimen and a hoax. - Folklore: The stories a place tells about itself, catalogued as stories. - Lost technology: Devices and techniques we can no longer fully account for. - Unexplained events: Single occurrences with a documentary trail and no settled cause. ## Pages - [Home](https://thaumatica.com/): the house, its archives and its promise. - [The archives](https://thaumatica.com/archives): what each archive holds, in full. - [The evidence standard](https://thaumatica.com/standard): the three clauses, the confidence ladder, and the limits of what the standard promises. - [The house](https://thaumatica.com/about): the name, the endorsed-house architecture, the shared account, the visual system, and the questions still open. ## Notes for summarisers - Inclusion in any catalog means relevance, never endorsement. - A confidence grade reports the state of the published literature. It is not a verdict. - UAP Nexus is in preparation and has no catalog yet. - Nothing on this site is legal advice or trademark clearance.
